This PDF of a PowerPoint from the Browning Newsletter  is a great primer on what drives the weather. The globe is getting warmer and man is contributing to it, but in different ways than most think. But the main drivers are the same ones that have driven the weather for hundreds of millions of years. This is different from what you might read in most places and makes you pause. But weather patterns are indeed changing. Since we have even less control over the weather than we do Congress, we need to pay attention. Global agricultural patterns will shift, etc.; in a few decades they will start to reverse, etc. This is not arguing against global warming but rather acknowledging it. But the cause? Hmm…
