Bill Gross talked recently about the death of equities, mostly for effect rather than to make an actual prediction, I assume. But if he was trying to drum up some reaction and debate, he was successful. This is a rather well-done paper on the topic, from GMO. My position on equities is well-known. They are just another tool in the box. At times they are the most important tool, at others not so much. A good craftsman knows when to use which tool, and not to throw one away because it is not working for a while. This is not a long read, and it's one you might want to refer to from time to time.
