Over My Shoulder

Joan McCullough: On the brink of perfecting the art of touching oneself

April 11, 2013

The irreverent Joan McCullough is on a roll today. It was hard not to laugh and cry (at the same time!) while at 30,000 feet in my flying office (otherwise known as 6B on American). If I was drinking I would have ordered another round. She drops some statistics that just make you sigh. There are more people on food stamps than the populations of Texas, New York, and New Mexico combined! All those new job openings that the usual suspects tout as a five-year high? The bulk of them are low-wage. Maybe it is an acquired taste, but I love this woman.
