James Gruber: Why Shale Oil Boosters Are Charlatans in Disguise
January 28, 2014
James Gruber over at Asia Confidential does a review of a book called Life After Growth by Tim Morgan. He covers Morgan's thesis on energy in the attached piece. I don't quite follow or agree with his conclusions about the end of global growth, but he makes a very interesting point about the nature of energy in the global economy. It is not all that long a read.
I'm back at home for three weeks and have a lot of catching up to do on my reading, which means that you'll probably get a few more Over My Shoulder posts than normal. Thanks for being a subscriber. And if you like the service, why not tell your friends?
