This is a very long article on North Korea from The New Yorker. But as is typical with the NY, it is extraordinarily well-written and edited. The author did a LOT of research prior to his visit to North Korea. What he reports is disturbing to this country boy. Yes, he has a liberal bent and it shows, but he is quite honest about what he saw in NK. I had heard hints but nothing to this extent. Different planets and eras and dimensions. Twilight zone stuff. Weekend reading, with an adult beverage.
