Over My Shoulder

David Zervos: The incentives to innovate and the supercillious

May 30, 2013

I have really come to appreciate David Zervos over at Jefferies. I will readily admit he pushes my buttons every now and then, but he makes me think as he does so. He is a very smart economist, former Fed econ, and upbeat fellow, although he can put on his bear hat. This piece is worth your ten minutes more for the history lesson than anything, but he is also giving us a view of the thinking that is running in Fed circles. They really do believe in what they are doing, just as Abe and Kuroda think they are on the right track.
