Ok, this gets into the weeds of wage inflation, but my friend Bob Eisenbeis at Cumberland makes a very good point. The talk about wage inflation is not grounded in the actual research. It is HEAVILY anecdotal. Wages can go up without contributing to inflation at all. A bit of a thought stretcher but a good topic to have a grasp on as background when you think about inflation.
