This is a remarkable piece, but not just for the wisdom of Ben Hunt. He gives us two graphs which show the very clear bias of data gathering during the Obama administration. This is rather startling to me, as I naïvely assumed that data was just data. Frankly, I am outraged and not quite certain what to do about it. Maybe I'm making more of this than I should, but those who collect data should present it properly and not feel they have to include some type of political spin. I agree that this issue is not on a par with the IRS scandals, but it is part and parcel of the same bias. Write me back if you think I should just go back to sleep.
