Mauldin Economics has been helping investors understand the global economy and investment markets for over a decade. We provide research appropriate for investors ranging from the beginner to professional investment advisors and portfolio managers. Our research is well known to the investment community. Our company was founded by John Mauldin, a best-selling author and noted economic analyst.

Our team is global, with experts in economics, investment analysis, marketing, video production, copywriting and graphic design.

Mauldin Economics is looking for a social media associate to support our editors in growing their social media presence. In this role, you would be editing and posting content for use on social media, collaborating with our team on content and exploring new platforms as appropriate.

This is an entry-level, hands-on role. You’ll be editing and posting written content to social media platforms.

Experience with social media platforms and trends is required. You should be curious about investing and economics, and be able to repurpose content as appropriate for social media. Knowledge of video platforms and editing is desirable but not required. Our initial social media focus will be on written content, primarily on Twitter.

You’ll work closely with our publisher and marketing manager. The primary goal is audience growth and engagement.

What will you be doing?

• Manage and execute posting schedule on Twitter and other social media platforms for two or more of our main content creators, time allowing.
• Coordinate with marketing team, editorial staff, and designers
• Ensure posts are optimized for optimal engagement and are tracked for performance

Who you are:

• Experienced in social media, specifically with Twitter and Instagram. Experience with LinkedIn desirable.
• Strong comprehension and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and seek assistance as needed.

Where will you be?

• Our entire team is remote, with a concentration in the Eastern US time zone.
